I am the first to admit I’m somewhat of a procrastinator when it comes to buying gifts. I know and realize particular events are approaching so begin to plan in my head what gift I will give, but before I know it the holiday, birthday, or whatever is upon me and I’m headed to the store the day before (and ok, sometimes the day of) the event to pick up the gift. It’s the thought that counts right? Not the how in advance the gift was purchased, right?! Right.
When this cutie pie contacted me stating her anniversary was in a couple of weeks I felt an immediate connection. Granted she wasn’t contacting me the day before (something I totally could see myself doing) but I typically need more time than we had to allow for the shoot, retouching, and ordering of product from my pro lab.
The day wasn’t totally ruined however because I was able to squeeze her session in quickly and then I created a custom slideshow for her to show her sweetie the day of their anniversary. They then picked out the images together for the calendar she’ll give to him at a slightly later date. How sweet is it that he was able to choose his favorites with her. I love it!!
